The whole story starts out with a narrator narrating what is happening to Meg at the moment creating the setting. "It was a dark and stormy night.' 'In her attic bedroom Margaret Murry, wrapped in an old patchwork quilt, sat on the foot of her bed and watched the trees tossing the moon frantically across the sky." (L'Engle 7) When the author uses the words "her" it means that there is a narrator that is telling the story. It is also the introduction.
Section 2/Chapter 3-4 Pages 45-83
The organization the author uses is in chronological order. She tells the story from what happens first then what happens next and so on. The story starts out with Meg in her room then it moves to the next day where she is at school then from there it goes to where they meet the Mrs.W's (Mrs.which,Mrs.Who,Mrs.Whatsit) ect.
Section 3/Chapters 5-6 Pages 84-126
The book is dived into 12 chapters. i think the author did this is because she could go into more detail because she can spend a whole chapter on describing what was happening to the group of children after the Mrs.W's left them. This section is the rising action.
Section 4/Chapters 7-8 Pages 127-158
This section like the others in in chronological order. The author does this because its less confusing. it also uses a lot of description because this is the part were Charles Wallace is having a spell up on him by IT. This section is the climax.
Section 5/Chapters 9-10
This section is very descriptive. this is the part where Meg save Charles Wallace by showing how much she loves her baby brother. i think the author did this because this is a main part falling down to the end of the story. This section is the falling action.
Section 6/Chapters 11-12 Pages 194-232
In this section is the resolution. The author goes into some detail to sorta tie it all together by saying they made it home and the family where hugging things like that.
